Sized for professional trades, U.S. Truck Body has designed one streamlined van body to be fitted with your choice of industry specific shelving and storage systems. U.S. Truck Body offer three separate Service Trade Packages, each one custom built to maximize space and provide you the optimum work environment to fit your specific needs for efficiency and productivity.
Fuel Savings Design – The clean, aerodynamic body is specifically built for light and medium duty chassis with an aerodynamic front nose, aluminum corner castings (not fiberglass), and 5” polished stainless steel front corner radius. The FRP construction provides an overall weight savings of nearly 400 lbs. compared to aluminum construction.

14’ OD, Width = 84” OD, Height = 74” ID.
The interior ceiling height is a true 74” to create the ultimate
working environment. Floor-to-roof interior side shelving and racking
is built industry specific for electrician, HVAC, or plumber contractors
to hold all essential tools and supplies.
Heavy-Duty Construction – The 3/8” FRP panels provide maximum durability and toughness, while the absence of exterior seems or rivets provides an ideal surface area for applying custom graphics. The anti-skid aluminum floor is lightweight yet incredibly strong to provide years of trouble-free service.
Electrician Service Trade Package
All aluminum construction designed specifically for HVAC contractors, the shelf layout allows optimum parts storage and inventory control. Shelves are infinitely adjustable on vertical tracks to accommodate a variety of plastic bins with dividers and label holders.
Shelf Storage Units – Overall Inside Space: 127” wide by 18” deep on both sides. Includes room for (4) Freon tank shelves, (24) short and (24) tall plastic bins with (1) long divider, (2) short dividers, and (1) label holder per bin. Top shelves are designed to hold 24’ extension ladders, PVC conduit, etc. Additional two feet of storage space on both sides at rear of shelves for transporting pre-fabricated duct work.
Floor Storage – Easy access ladder or walk ramp compartment, accessible through a flip-down panel built into the rear step, space for an extension ladder or a 12’ walk ramp. (walk ramp and compartment sold as options)
Additional Features – Two roof vents with 2-way open/close operation, DOT safety kit.
Plumber Service Trade Package
All aluminum construction and designed specifically for plumber contractors, the shelf layout allows optimum parts storage and inventory control. Shelves are infinitely adjustable on vertical tracks to accommodate a variety of plastic bins with dividers and label holders.
Shelf Storage – Overall Inside Space: 136” wide by 18” deep on both sides. Includes room for plastic bins designed to plumber specifications (41) short and (24) tall bins with dividers and label holders. Open area provided at rear of truck for easy loading/unloading of water heaters and holding tanks. Top shelves are designed to hold extension ladders, PVC conduit, etc.
Floor Storage – Easy access ladder or walk ramp compartment, accessible through a flip-down panel built into the rear step, space for an extension ladder or a 12’ walk ramp. (walk ramp and compartment sold as options)
Additional Features – Two roof vents with 2-way open/close operation, DOT safety kit.
Standard Service Trade Features
Chassis – U.S. Truck Body will build your Service Trade body on your choice of available/applicable chassis.
Modern Aerodynamic Design – Built specifically for light and medium duty chassis with an aerodynamic front nose to reduce wind drag, aluminum corner castings (not fiberglass), and a 5” polished stainless steel front corner radius.
Front & Side Walls – FRP panels with 3/8” core thickness and 18 oz. woven fiberglass, impregnated white gel-coated finish, ideal for application of graphics. FRP panels are rigid and will not dent.
Roof – Translucent, one-piece construction, tension-fitted and bonded to roof bows, perimeter riveted. The entire roof assembly is bolted to the top rail structure for easy removal and repair. Roof bows are roll-formed of 18 gauge galvanized steel and located on 24” centers. 12” polished steel roof radius, polished aluminum castings on front corners.
Rear Frame – Built from 12 gauge stainless steel with reinforcements at all stress points. Frames are assembled in a spinner jig so welding is done on a horizontal plane to ensure the best possible welds.
Floor – Extruded aluminum interlocking panels, anti-skid tread design.
Rear Access – EZ access/egress aluminum grip channel drop-step bumper with internal two-step design.
Rear Doors – Custom built swing doors with quality DuraPlate construction. Standard configuration is 60/40 split, providing easy access for operator through one 48” wide door. Optimum size with both doors open is 76.25” wide x 68.5” high. (50/50 door split available as a no-cost option)
Rear Door Hardware – Heavy-duty extruded aluminum hinges for long term use with stainless steel replaceable pins. Stainless steel exterior hardware. HD 2-point lock on RH door, spring latch on LH door, and door-open alarm/indicator light in cab.
Lighting (interior) – Three fluorescent dome lights, recessed and mounted between the roof bows to gain maximum headroom, toggle switch at rear and master switch inside cab.
Lighting (exterior) – Marker lights are recessed in roof coves with exterior wiring in protective grooves. All connections are shielded from moisture by heat-shrink insulators. (LED lights optional)
Mounting – Body is bolted to the chassis frame and totally re-mountable.
