With the UltraGrip™ ramp, TODCO has completely redesigned the high-traction walk ramp. New advanced materials have been combined with superior engineering to provide surer footing for your workers, and get more productivity from your fleet.
UltraGrip is the result of advanced materials applied in a revolutionary design. Traditional aluminum or magnesium grating has been replaced with a reinforced composite fiberglass and thermoset resin structure that provides additional strength while resisting chipping and cracking. Approximately 60% of the area on an UltraGrip ramp is open to allow precipitation to pass through easily and efficiently, yet provide the surface area needed for smooth handcart operation.
Quartz crystals are chemically bonded to the walking surface to enhance traction. The grating is supported by a patented cross-rod design. Each lightweight, corrosion-resistant cross-rod is reinforced through a three-piece assembly that is mechanically locked and chemically bonded for greater strength and rigidity.
UltraGrip is built to last, with little or no maintenance required. Its entire construction, from the aluminum frame to the advanced fiberglass composite grating, is corrosion resistant and fire retardant. An enclosed carrier protects the ramp when not in use.
The UltraGrip Ramp is available in three lengths: 16’, 14’ and 12’. The usable width on all three lengths is 24 inches. UltraGrip will not fit any other TODCO or competitive ramp carrier.
